welcome to swatch my home decor, by moderndesign nirvana. this is a free and easy to use tool that willhelp you find inspirational designs and furniture pieces that match the decor of your home. using our tool is very easy: simply tap the'choose' button from the main menu when you launch the app. from here you can choose to shoot a photowith your camera app, or choose an existing image on your phone. i already have some good examples preparedon my phone today, so i'm just going to choose one of them now.

your photo will be processed into 5 primarycolor swatches. as well as a 6th overal color average as seenunder the color swatches heading. we will take a closer look at these colorswatches later in the video. but first, you may have noticed these twogreen buttons that have appeared under your photo. clicking either of these will swipe rightfor you, and show you the relevant photo matches for your decor. let's take a look at this similar rooms. by using the color swatch information fromyour photo.

by default, it will only look at color information. but we can also tell it to look at certainroom types such as these kitchens, or even design style genres. maybe i'm feeling a little eclectic today? or, let's show off our own idea of nirvana. feel free to click on any of these photosto visit them on our website at moderndesignnirvana.com where you can find similar matches, alternatephotos, or more information about the spaces, the designers, or the products. back in the application, you can click thereset button to put everything back to default.

or you can swipe left, or even click the backbutton on your phone to return to the previous screen where we first uploaded our photo. now, if we click on the green 'similar furniture'button, we are presented with a familiar layout, only with furniture suggestions instead ofdesign spaces. feel free to play with some of the filteringoptions to your heart's content. i'm going to click back again so that we cantake a look at some of the color swatches in more detail now. by scrolling down, you can find detailed colorinformation for each of the swatches, in several color spaces.

feel free to click on any of the swatch colorsto get detailed color information about it. you can also pull in the navigation drawer,by swiping in from the left, and click on any of the boxes to copy that informationto your clipboard. for the last part of the video, i'm goingto pick some the decorated spaces i have on my phone just to show you an example of thedifferent style genres, and settings that you can use to match results. and while i do that, i'm also going to explainsome of the best practices and the best methods you can use to get the best results from ourprogram. always try to capture the natural light ofyour room in your photos, without flash, or

excessive color from artificial light sources. the software only looks at the five most prominatecolor averages in your photo, so many decorated spaces that make use of accent colors maynot match in the way you anticipate. finally, bolder, less common colors, may notmatch results very well, simply because we do not have many decorated spaces using thosecolors yet, but those will be coming over time. we hope you enjoy this free program, and don'tforget to look up and discover your design nirvana, at moderndesignnirvana.com
